News - November 2008
We have signed with Crunch Pod for the release of our next full length album "Plague called huMANity"! We are very excited to be a member of the Crunch crew, and are looking at a potential release date of February 2009. The album is currently being mastered by Metarc, and we will post details as they develop. For now all we can reveal is that the total run time is about 65 minutes, and that there will be 13 tracks plus 1 bonus track as our tribute to Ministry... one of the most influential bands of our lives who have decided to retire this year.
We also will have a remix featured on the 2xCD limited edition of Caustic's upcoming album "This Is Jizzcore". The track title is: Bacia la Capra - Crash and Burn mix by Prometheus Burning. "This is Jizzcore" is now available for pre-order here from Crunch Pod, and will ship out around January 2009... so check it out!
Prometheus Burning may soon be a trio as opposed to a duo. A good friend of ours by the name of Nick Breinich has been joining us in the studio during sessions of jamming and experimentation. He will be performing with us on stage at some of our shows coming up in 09 to support the new album, and may become a full time member of the band. Nick has been experimenting with electronic music for many years now, and currently performs solo as Vasculator, as well as a member of Gnarled Horse Throat. He also has an upcoming album coming out soon on Void Tactical Media entitled "Meteor Hammer".
