The exclusive ND track “Under the Gun (Immune Response)” will be appearing on the “Electronic Saviors” compilation, due out on Metropolis Records in February. All proceeds will go to the Foundation For Cancer Research And Wellness. Assembled by the multi-talented Jim Semonik, himself a cancer survivor, it’s a 4-disc behemoth of awesomeness featuring EBM, industrial, noise, futurepop, synthpop, goth and so forth.

I’ve installed WPTouch on this and on the blog to make mobile browsing a more pleasurable experience. I love modular software. And thank Stephen Fry for blogging about it)

I'm beginning to think my resume is irrelevant. I need to get with someone on making it better. I have so many gaps in employment on there. I always have jobs in those gaps, but a bunch of bullshit jobs in between CAD jobs just looks silly to me. Almost a year at times. And considering I haven't had a solid job lead in years, means I need a different approach to finding a job. Not many references either, some jobs I've quit or left on bad terms, mostly these pizza places and some dead-end staffing company failures. Maybe I should look out of the state for a job. But, I know I won't do that, because I've moved just within MI for a job and that was a disaster. I just know if I go back to running pizzas I'll lose my mind.

Beginning to think sites like Monster.com are just scam's 100%. Never had even a remote job lead through it, and whenever someone contacts me for an interview, they always 'can't say more over the phone' and ends up being one of those places that 'sell insurance'. Ail, Primerica, those companies. All scam. Monster and Careerbuilder ALWAYS have the SAME jobs. Seriously, CAD jobs I've applied to years ago are still offered. So it just appears it's a front for scams. Better just stick to MI Works, and other trustworthy sites. If I get another one of these scam interview calls, I might just go just to tear the place apart, and let them know how much I hate people wasting my time.
When someone from a place calls, that has NOTHING to do with CAD or engineering, and says 'We found your resume online and you would fit a position in our company' or something similar, do they actually think I'll sign up? Land surveying and selling bullshit insurance is connected how? I can tell just from the tone of voice and the way they talk, before they even tell me what they're calling for I already know what's up. Not in a good mood with this bullshit. Finding a job is truly the hardest job out there.

Czar or tsar is an informal title for certain high-level officials in the United States and United Kingdom. Political czars can run or organize governmental departments, and may devote their expertise to a single area of work. The "czars" have various official titles such as adviser, director, administrator, or diplomatic envoy, but such titles are often quite long or awkward sounding.

So how come we never heard complaint's about all of Bush's Czars?
Also, I agree that Czar was a horrible choice for a name, but again you can't blame Obama for that.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
~ Nelson Mandela

The worst part about an accident, provided no one is injured, is dealing with the insurance agencies after the fact. Especially their hold music that sound's like it's a streaming .mp3 coming over a 14.4 baud modem.
( Completely random stuff )

| Now Booking - East Coast Tour 2010 |
[10 Nov 2009|08:34am] |
Greetings everyone. I'm quite excited to announce the decision to take this show on the road next summer! We've had a lot of fun playing in and around our back yard these last few months, and we've met a ton of new people, and I know that this is only going to get bigger and better as we go to new places.
As with the release of the album, Waves, this tour will truly be a labor of love. I have no booking agent, no promotional staff, no manager, and no street team. What I do have is a strong desire to get out there and bring this love and music to as many people as possible. I also have google, the help of some good friends and fellow musicians, and most importantly: you!
That's why I'm writing now, to ask for your help. If you're on the east coast and want me to come visit, send an email to tour@jdavydwilliams.com. What I'm looking for are specific venues that can host us for a night, and help us out with a little money, a place to stay, some (vegan) food and a certified way to get the word out about the show.
Good examples are yoga studios, open minded nightclubs, coffee shops, book stores, and churches... but basically, if it's got a sound system and enough room for a chunk of people to sing kirtan in, it's worth mentioning. Even the sound system isn't totally required under the right circumstances!
The first date is already booked for June 5th, at the Integral Yoga Institute in NYC.
Expect to hear a lot about this from me in the coming months!
Om shanthi,
Jdavyd
